Shingle Color Matching in Bois D Arc, MO

Shingle Color Matching in Bois D Arc, MO

A repair that works but looks like a patch is a common complaint. Asphalt shingles fade with sun, and product lines get renamed or discontinued. A brand new bundle of the "same" color can look a shade or two off next to shingles that have been up for ten years.

Bois D Arc, MO Shingle Roof Repair helps homeowners in Bois D Arc, MO find shingle roof repair crews who take color matching seriously. A good match process looks like this:

• Pulling a shingle from a hidden spot, like the back slope, to read the manufacturer marks on the back
• Comparing it in daylight against samples from current lines
• Using shingles salvaged from a hidden slope on the front, and putting the new ones out of sight
• Blending new shingles across a wider area instead of a tight square, so the eye does not catch a hard edge

Perfect matches on old roofs are not always possible, and an honest crew will say so before starting. The goal is a repair you have to look for to find.
